Dr Brian Holcroft Appointed Chief Executive Officer of Hydrogen Solar Ltd

Brian has considerable experience within product development, manufacturing contract research, technology transfer and IP management in start-up and spin-out businesses in a wide field of technologies and markets.

He has an international track record of delivering profitable businesses within bio-instrumentation, wireless communications, chemical and physical sensing, displays, electronics, software, materials and imaging.

Previously Brian was the Technical Director of CRLO Displays, where he raised $19m for the company’s LCD microdisplay development and manufacturing unit, serving military, avionics and consumer display markets.

Before this, he was Managing Director of Central Research Laboratories (CRL), the R&D and innovation facility. There he was responsible for 65 staff with expertise in instrumentation, nano/micro systems, diagnostics, human cell handling, drug discovery instrumentation, gas/chemical sensors, embedded software, audio, multimedia, video, mobile applications and wireless communications technologies. During his period there, Brian turned around the cash negative, loss making R&D function into a cash generative operation.
